The Power Of Fluids

Today's cars require more maintenance than ever. We can no longer change the oil every 3000 miles and call it good. Proper maintenance requires you to change the Power Steering, Brake, Transmission, Coolant, and Differential fluids on a regular basis. 

The good news is that when properly maintained, your vehicle will experience fewer breakdowns. Other than automotive parts that wear out over time (such as brake pads, tires, and ball joints), you really shouldn't need to replace a brake caliper or power steering pump on modern cars. When drivers need these parts replaced, the common reason is because the fluids are contaminated from age and use, causing damage to internal seals which leads to early failure.

Simply put, any part that comes in contact with a fluid (ie) power steering, brake, etc.. needs to have that fluid flushed on a regular basis, every 30k to 50k.
